Your Truth is my desire
Your love to fuel my fire
Without You I don't want to live
Help me my whole life to give
Unworthy is all I could ever be
Yet You give Your grace to me
Here I stand before Your throne
Because of Christ, called Your own
Help me to praise You great "I AM"
And honor Your son the crucified Lamb
For this purpose You saved from sin
And cleansed me of the filth within
Now to others make Your name known
and bless the seeds that have been sown
Father God, righteous King
Of Your greatness let all earth sing.

Are you a Christian?
Do you believe abortion is wrong?
Not only that, but that it's murder?
Do you believe that homosexuality is un-biblical?
Do believe that according to the constitution a man has a right to keep and bear arms, without having to inform the Gov. of your possession?
Do you believe that a man has a right to own his own land?
Do you believe that judges should judge according to the word of God?
Do you say the pledge?
My dear friends, did you answer yes to any of those questions? How about any but the last one?
I pledge allegiance to the flag

Do you not see? If you answered 'YES' to any of my questions, why do you still say the pledge? Why do you give your allegiance to a nation that murders babies, promotes adultery, and goes against it's own laws and original documents. Fellow Christians, I mourn for you. Why is it that we believe we are doing the greatest good by saying the pledge; when it is so obvious that everything our country does now is exactly the opposite, and getting worse? We are not truly loving our country, as it was intended to be, and most importantly, we are not truly loving nor honoring our God when we pledge our allegiance to our flag. You want to be a witness? You want a chance to explain to people about the Christian life? Don't say the pledge, people will ask you why, (I can guarantee it) and you can tell them it's because you love your God, and you are a true patriot. Will it be easy? Assuredly not, of that I have knowledge. Is that course of action right? Certainly I believe so, and would desire proof otherwise, besides sagas of sentimentalization.
"Surely I have taught you statues and judgments, just as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess. Duties before rights.
Everyone wants to concentrates on the rights that they think they deserve, without thinking about fulfilling the duties that they are bound to preform.
For example, our "inalienable" rights of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Why do we deserve life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? We don't, not really. We are creatures of the fall, doomed to death from the day Adam bit the apple. The only reason we can hope for, or expect any of the above mentioned three things, is because God sent His son to be an propitiation for our sins. But still, unless we live by God's law set forth for us in scripture, we cannot expect these "rights". It is our *duty* to glorify God and follow His law, before we can expect any "rights" from Him. If you think about it, any country that has turned away from God's law, and stopped preforming their duties towards Him, has had these "rights" taken away from them. Think of Communist run Governments, think of the French revolution, where
"Every last king should be strangled with the entrails of the last priest" Those people lived in fear of being reported or turned in, they could not leave there own country freely, you didn't want to try and rise above the common man, for fear of being killed. When we turn from our duties to God, we automatically give up any "rights" that we think belong to us.
So, in reality, every man has inalienable duties, and if those are preformed, he can expect some "rights" because of that. It is a reward from God to His people, it is God keeping His covenantal promises to us. If we Obey, serve, and glorify Him, He will bless us.

A New Years Inquisitory
Have you wished the year goodbye?
A kiss, a wave, a smile, a sigh.
Have you bid the year farewell
with a song so sweetly, sadly, sung?
Did you welcome the New year in,
Surrounded by many, numerous friends?
Or did you softly let it go
In peaceful solitude?
Did you , with gladness, welcome in
the New year, as if a long lost friend?
Or, shying back, watch warily go
the old year leave, the new a foe.
Perhaps, perhaps, it matters not
in time to come, as in ages past
What has been, will be forgot.
A kiss, a wave, a smile, a sigh.
Have you bid the year farewell
with a song so sweetly, sadly, sung?
Did you welcome the New year in,
Surrounded by many, numerous friends?
Or did you softly let it go

The Fragile Rose, the Gallant Strong.
The rose that on the gallant leaning
did swiftly learn of her mistake;
when from his sleeves, black knives producing,
his gift to her, a short lived fate.
Shadows, Monsters of the Night.
Running from the monster;
that 'till now she fully trusted.
In her being, she does know
that if it once again shape-shifted
wholly she would falsely trust it.
Sharp claws grasp at her,
teeth glistening with greed
from her mouth deep breaths are gasping
from her heart, her soul doth bleed.
Have you noticed, stars so bright
sometimes barely shine a light?
Only shadows emphasizing
they but deeper darken the long night.
Shadows grasp, shadows claw
to a shadow, there is no law
free to terrorize, free to roam
and prey upon those safe at home.
Men at home think " here, no treachery shall reach"
but they know not their own wide breach
within deep recesses of their minds the shadows lurk
waiting with malicious joy, evil plans to work.

God is Holy, glory to His name.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-40
These are the words the the ghost of Christmas Present hollered in an increasingly thunderous voice to Scrooge, in a acted rendition of that famous classic "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens.
Pause, rewind.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ EXCEPT FOR YOU EBENEZER
Shouted Ghost of Christmas present (here after known as GCP) with the crescendo falling on those last four words.
hit stop, run to the bathroom, grab Q-tips, and windex.
No, you don't need to clean your ears out, or your computer screen off, that is really what the GCP said, if not exactly word for word then pretty darn close.
If your reaction was "Um, excuse me...?" that was mine too. If your reaction was "huh? I don't see a problem here" Indulge me in reading to you the vast and various problems with taking that scripture verse and twisting it to fit with such hideous words. As if they belonged.
First of all, the "Nor any other created thing" ought to clue you in. "NOR *ANY*", no exceptions, caveats, or small print included, especially not the "YOU" part.
Second of all, do we think that we are so powerful, that although angels cannot separate us from the love of God, nor demons, we are capable of doing so ourselves? Do we raise ourselves in power above those whom God created to be his heavenly servants?
Continuing on in another vein, the idea that we deny God's grace once He has selected us for Himself.
All that the Father *gives* Me *WILL* come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out
John 6:37
No one comes to Jesus unless that man is first chosen by God to be saved (You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you...John 15:16a). Every man suppresses the truth in unrighteousness, and God's wrath is against him. (Romans 1:18) Because of our sin nature we are incapable of accepting God's grace, unless He has opened our hearts to receive it. Once He has opened our hearts, we are incapable of refusing. "In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will" Ephesians 1:11 God has predestined His own people to Himself, He cannot be mistaken, therefore, if He chooses you, you cannot reject Him.
My fellow Christians, I plead with you! Be ye not deceived. Search the scriptures for yourself, and have not itchy ears (2 Timothy 4:3-4). The idea that we can chose or reject Christ on our own whim is not only insulting and degrading to the nature of the one true God, as if that were not enough, it is a works theology!
If we are the ones making the choice, if it is us who decides whether or not we will accept the blood and sanctification poured out from Christ's body, then are we not to get credit for this choice? After all, although it was His work on the cross that gave us the ability to be saved, it is we ourselves that chose our salvation. If we had denied God, He could of done nothing about it. That means that our salvation is dependent upon *our* works. Further more, if we deny what God has specifically offered to us, we are more powerful then God, are we not? Does that not make us demi-god's ourselves?
Romans 10:5-6
Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the *Election* of grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I exhort You. Do not create a God for yourself whom you can handle, but look to the God of the bible who is the powerful creator of the universe, and the planner of all life and events."Therefore do NOT be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord... share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began." 2 Timothy 1:8a,9
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-40
That is all, He is in complete control. If He wants you He shall have you, for who of those that He has called has rebelled?

Pslam 148
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
Praise Him in the heights!
Praise Him, all His angels;
Praise Him, all His hosts!
Praise Him, all you stars of light!
Praise Him, you heavens of heavens,
And you waters above the heavens!
Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For He commanded and the were created.
He also established them forever and ever;
He made a decree which shall not pass away.
Praise the Lord from the earth,
You great sea creatures and all the depths;
Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
Mountains and all hills;
Fruitful trees and all cedars;
Beasts and all cattle;
Creeping things and flying fowl;
Kings of the earth and all peoples;
Princes and all judges of the earth;
Both young men and maidens;
Old men and children.
Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For His name alone is exalted;
His glory is above the earth and heaven.
And He has exalted the horn of His people,
The praise of all His saints-
Of the children of Israel,
A people near to Him.
Praise the Lord!
Praise Him in the heights!
Praise Him, all His angels;
Praise Him, all His hosts!
Praise Him, all you stars of light!
Praise Him, you heavens of heavens,
And you waters above the heavens!
Let them praise the name of the Lord,
